GALA conference in Lisbon, Portugal

For another year, Version internationale attended the GALA (Globalization and Localization Association) conference in Cascais, near Lisbon in Portugal.

The relaxed atmosphere belied the record number of attendees who came for this third edition of the event. Bringing translation professionals from around the globe together with prestigious clients, such as Google this year, and developers of translation technologies, GALA has proven its credentials as an exceptional networking opportunity. The talks and discussions are also a great way to identify the challenges facing the sector at a time when content – especially web content – is exploding and concepts and strategies need to be rapidly put in place.
